A group workshop on sophrology is an ideal environment for creating a positive collective dynamic that fosters evolution towards well-being. Together we will dive into a moment of true sharing in an atmosphere of gentleness where each participant has their place. A group session offers the participants the opportunity to exchange with new people and share on topics that matter to each, much like trees that share the same fertile ground send their roots reaching out to each other.

Sophrology is a method which can accompany you no matter what stage of life you find yourself in. It will help you reconnect with your emotions and manage stress, as travelers face and overcome the elements. You will learn to find deep within you the resources and capabilities to grow your well-being and find balance in your daily life.

In a sophrology session, there are two objectives:

The practice of sophrology in a group encourages a person to undertake regular training, much like regularly watering a garden in order to see the flowers bloom. By anchoring the tools of sophrology within your daily life, you will begin to thrive and grow, as a flower opens itself to the sunshine every morning.

Do you wish to explore more deeply a particular topic? Go to the heart of a particular issue that is troubling you? I am prepared to listen and to work closely with you on topics that need to be approached with careful consideration.

Addictions, phobias, impending or recent birth, impulses, performance, resiliency….Sophrology is like the clearing in the forest where those who wish to examine this aspect of their lives gather together. You will learn tools and exercises which you can take with you and incorporate into your daily life.

We will be traveling companions, addressing together with determination the subject at hand. A sophrology workshop can be held in a participant’s home, in a corporate setting, at my office, or online, whether you are in Annecy, in France, or anywhere in the world. Any location, no matter where it is, can become a sacred space in which your personal development can flourish.

My approach to workshops

What will be your experience in group workshop, a voyage within oneself that unfolds like an easy walk through the heart of your being? Each session, like a profound breath deep in nature, will last approximately one hour. Some workshops, however, can extend as long as a half-day, a precious space of 2 to 3 hours to enable you to explore these sensations in greater depth. And for those who wish to enroll for an even longer experience, there are meditation retreats lasting an entire day – a true pilgrimage to internal peace. These are moments of tranquility which combine yoga, breathwork and visualizations.

`During the course of these sessions, you will be guided through walks, meditative dances, and simple meditations as a means of creating lasting inner serenity. Sophrology can be done in an upright posture, sitting, or lying down – each posture allowing you to anchor yourself or to float away, according to your desire. My approach is a “light learning” style which includes simple exercises that are effective and easy to continue on your own.

By gathering in a group, by theme, each person will see themselves in the stories of the others, like petals in a flower – each separate, yet the same. Education, psychology, coaching, human resources: by melding all of my experiences, I will assist you in giving new life to the essence of your being. And we will also integrate mindfulness practices that consist of bringing intention, in the present moment, without judgement. The objective is to become very conscious of one’s thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations while remaining open and receptive in the present moment.
